Purchases of late:

CRASH is back! been playing the Remastered Trilogy and loving it, but damn, them levels on the collapsable bridge on Crash 1 are hard, I lost 40+ lives on it!
Been after Soul Calibur on PSP for a while as fighters are the main games I play on portable. Also the Metal Gear Acid 2 came with the 3D-Box thing sealed
I got an import version of Sinper Elite V2 as it just seemed a lot cheaper!

I'm glad you are liking the Crash remake. I've found the controls to be very frustrating. I'm finding a lot of people agree with my on the "new" controls. I can still be the original Crash with my eyes closed and the bridge level used to always be one of my favorites, but I'm finding the new game to be almost unplayable. It's really unfortunate because the rest of the game is close to being perfect. If there was any way to make the game control like the original, it would probably be one of my favorite games on the system.

These two books arrived today.  The Last Guardian book is fantastic.  It includes a lot of art and history as well as a walkthrough and trophy guide.  The SOTC book is not quite what I expected, but it's still a neat little piece.

I pre-ordered on Amazon and with the pre-order price guarantee, I was able to save a whopping $0.48.

But yes, I am loving this book and I look forward to going through it even more.  I especially enjoyed the section that discussed the connections between The Last Guardian, Ico and SOTC.

It's strange.  I love video game collecting, but I'm not into collecting anything outside of actual games and systems.  I find that I just don't have the space for other gaming related items (like figures for example).  However, when it comes to Team Ico stuff, I enjoy finding anything I can get my hands on.  There isn't much out there that I know of, but I enjoy looking for it.

Final Fantasy XII... Had to get it! Curious to replay it even if my first time was a disapointment, dreading this new Job System, as I can't really see the benefits of each class at a post-game level upon deciding.

I almost didn't buy motor toon Grand Prix because the only way to play multiplayer is with a ps1 system link cable. I forgot the name but there is a kart racer on PS3 that's pretty good. And then there's also mod nation racers lol. I thought that game was fun but it's just my opinion lol

I don't really have a narrow specialty I collect for, just games that I find out about and peak my interests   I must admit I am more of a console gamer than a portable gamer, hence why I sort of neglect the Vita (Thuogh I do have a PSTV in storage). I just find if I am out I don't have time to game and prefer to do so on my lounge arena at home

Lately I got a backwards compatible PS3, so i've been buying more PS2 games as they're more accessible again. I find I don't buy PS1 games often, PS4 games are an ongoing thing - the ones which are my priority, like at the end of the month both Resident Evil Revelations & Yakuza Kiwami come out so that will be sure to keep me busy for the next month or so.

I'm quite fond of Disney in general, which leads into most of Pixar's films. I think many give the Cars franchise a bit of a hard ride. While it's not up there with the top eras of Disney its still enjoyable. But I think this series serves much better to the genre of a racing game than say 'Dreamworks Super Star Kartz' & from what I have played of it so far it's actually a very well made game - Not as good as Sonic All-Star Racing but certainly one of the better kartish racers in recent times.

Latest arrivals:

Interesting a few titles, enjoyed what I have seen of Attack on Titan anime and Omega Force are good at these type of action gaems so have a good feeling for the game. More Cars (get over it  ), apaprently this PS2 title is more similar to the popular Need for Speed Underground titles of the time. Snagged Shinobi very cheap from MusicMagpie, I was actually jsut about to buy it when I got Nightshade off eBay but as soon as it was in my basket it was gone. I've been checkign the site frequnetly and last week they finally have one listed so I pounced on it - Mint condition too so very pleased.

A colleague I work with said he wasn't keen on it, but then he doesn't like 1on1 fighters. I probably get time to try it out in a week or two when I am away and taking my PS3 with me.
