So it is 2016 and reflecting on the  previous year I think it was a good'un. The Poll is now close and here are the results!:

So the winner of PlayStation Collecting's 2015 Game of the Year Goes to:

Critically & commercially a very successful game, I however have not been able to embrace it. Not because I have zero interest in the game but because I don't have access to the previous two games I even got the first game on PC but my PC simply isn't built for gaming. being the final entry of the series I refuse to jump in with the third title, much like Mass Effect which released the first title on PS3 after the third game of the trilogy was already released. I don't regret waiting for Mass Effect, as playing all three games was how the series was meant to be enjoyed. So I shall wait on... Of course while I am waiting I would love to hear what you all thought of The Witcher III: Wild Hunt!

With 2016 looking to be the year of the JRPG, I am hyped as anything! Really optimistic about what the year shall bring, I wish you all a happy New Year & I'll catch up with you all soon

I don't think the Witcher 3 is so fused with it's predecessors that it needs a back story. It's perfectly fine as an introduction and you can always read up about it. It's also based a book series so you could read the books too to get some background information.

I have the 2nd as I am interested in the previous games but have not played it yet.
