What game is this?

All I remember is that it was a 3rd person adventure/platformer I guess. You could shoot at stuff too. You could control one character while playing, and maybe there was multiplayer too.
At the end of each level, you would hear the sentence ''The ancients are pleased'' or ''The ancients are not pleased'' or something, depending if you did what you were suppose to do. I think you needed to collect certain things before ending the level somehow.

Does anyone have any idea what game this could be? I think it was very early on, when ps1 became popular - I think the game was already out.

I actually have a very minimal knowledge of ps1 games, but I was given a few titles right in my early days - kula world, Dukes of hazard and small soldiers.  I remember all of those games clearly - dukes of hazard was woeful to surprising levels, as really small soldiers was, but it was so different from the film it really surprised me and kula world, that I didn't expect much from, was highly enjoyable.  Thinking about it I never came across those titles when I was going through my stuff recently...  More lost items it seems
